A Vision Woven in Thread
Tzniut was born from a simple yet powerful conviction: that fashion should empower without compromise. Co-founded by Ikechukwu Innocent Ajibo and Michaella Glory Chialu, the brand set out to prove that modesty and haute couture are not just compatible — they are inseparable.
Tzniut is a meeting of worlds. It draws from cultures across the globe — the clean lines and tailoring of UK fashion, the rich colour, texture, and spirit of African heritage, and inspiration from every corner of the world — all while ensuring every patron takes the spotlight in modest, luxurious pieces.
Ikechukwu founded Meriba before joining forces with Michaella, founder of Milo and Marie. Each had built something of their own; together, they would build something greater. He holds a degree in Sociology and Anthropology, and Michaella a degree in Biochemistry — both earned at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN).
The pair moved to Abuja to bring Tzniut to life, turning a shared conviction into a brand built on artistry, dignity, and detail.
The name "Tzniut" — drawn from the concept of dignified modesty — reflects this ethos. It's not about hiding; it's about revealing the most powerful version of yourself through thoughtful, luxurious design.

Michaella Glory Chialu
Co-Founder & Lead DesignerA Biochemistry graduate of UNN and founder of Milo and Marie, Michaella brings an intuitive understanding of fabric, form, and femininity. Her designs speak a language of quiet power.
